The Tasks—If you need more information about any of the specific tasks listed below, please ring the leader whose initials appear at the end of each description (names and phone numbers at the foot of this page). In the interests of brevity, only the primary job for each day is shown—there will always be other work available if a large number of volunteers arrives. Should it be necessary for any reason to change the programme, this page will be updated as soon as possible, and a note drawing attention to the change will appear on the home page. Grid References - These refer to the initial meeting point for each site, and are followed by a brief description of it. Please try to arrive there by 10:00am. Occasionally the group will move on from the initial meeting place, so if you cannot arrive at the start, please ring beforehand for details. We will also try to place WCV signposts to help you find us.

JULY
7th Magdalen Hill Down, Winchester. Our annual visit to remove ragwort. (TC) SU511293 Top of lane opposite cemetery car park Map Site description 14th/21st Hinton Ampner Estate, Hinton Ampner. Over these two weeks we shall be undertaking various tasks on this National Trust property. (RH) SU597276 Estate yard on W side of house Map Site description 28th Manor Farm Country Park, Hedge End. This week and next we shall be re-surfacing a path round a BBQ area and installing 2 field gates. (BS) SU498113 Toplands car park—3rd turn left off Pylands Lane (approx 1km from M27). AUGUST
4th Manor Farm Country Park, Hedge End. See 28th July 11th Creech Wood, Denmead. The task this week is to clear the area round a pond. (MM) Meeting point to be decided 18th No task is yet planned for this week 25th Twyford Water Works, Twyford. Join us for the annual meadow cut.
